What We Treat

Keratoconus
There are new and innovative treatment options for Keratoconus patients, some of which are specialty fit contact lenses. For a consultation, call Dr. Makenzie Elliott.
Cataracts
When cataracts disrupt your daily life, Dr. Elliott may recommend cataract-removal surgery, which is one of the most frequent and successful eye procedures done in the United States.
Glaucoma
While there is no cure for glaucoma, there are medications and surgery available that can help halt further vision loss. Early detection and regular eye exams are vital to slowing the progress of the disease.
Macular Degeneration
Although there is currently no cure for macular degeneration, treatment options do exist. Treatments are aimed at slowing the progression of the disease and improving vision when possible.
Astigmatism
In minor cases, treatment may not be required but is certainly beneficial. Moderate to severe astigmatism can be treated with corrective eyewear or contact lenses.
Computer Vision Syndrome
Special lens designs for computer work provide you with a larger intermediate area for viewing the computer and your immediate work area. Dr. Elliott can help you determine if these special lenses are appropriate for you.
Hyperopia (Farsightedness)
If you are moderately or severely hyperopic, you may have several treatment options available, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and orthokeratology. Our doctors will help you determine the best treatment option for you.
